The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Sunday announced a review of the case definition for COVID – 19 .
It said the review became necessary because of the community transmission of the disease noticed in parts of the country.
The centre added some other symptoms to existing ones that could make a patient to be suspected of having contracted the virus.
It said , “Due to community transmission in parts of the country, a new case definition has been published for COVID – 19 in Nigeria .
