Abducted twins of Islamic cleric Oyo released after eight days

The abducted twins of an Islamic cleric in Oyo State , Taofeeq Akeugbagold , have been freed.

Akeugbagold confirmed their release in a Facebook post on Sunday morning.

He said his toddlers were released early Sunday at 05: 30am after eight days in their abductor ’ s net .

He wrote , “ ALHAMDULILLAH! AT 5 . 30AM OF SUNDAY 3 RD MAY , MY ABDUCTED TWIN KIDS ARE RELEASED TO ME BESIDE A BUSH AFTER 8 DAYS IN AN UNKNOWN LAND . THANKS TO U ALL FOR FOR YOUR PRAYERS AND SUPPORT , JAZAKUMULLAHU KHAIRAN . ABERE MI BO SINU OKUN , OLOUN YO PADA FUN MI . ”
