President Muhammadu Buhari was yesterday sworn into office for a second successive term as the President of Nigeria.
President Buhari was sworn-in alongside his vice, Professor Yemi Osinbajo by the acting Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) Ibrahim Tanko Mohammed at exactly 10:42 AM yesterday at the inauguration ceremony which held at the Eagle Square.
However, many Nigerians feel disappointed that the President failed to give an inaugural speech during the inauguration ceremony and have taken to their different social media platforms to express their disappointment.
Although there is a report that the president would be addressing the nation on the 12th of June, 2019, a date which was previously signed into law as the new Nigeria’s Democracy Day, but a lot of people still feel it was disrespectful for the president not anything to the nation after being sworn into office.

Muhammad Buhari should have gave inaugural speech today not make the nation wait until June 12.
They are public servants for God’s sake not public masters.
Biko lets be guided.
No speech from @MBuhari as he takes oath of office.
Buhari doesn’t give a fuck about you, he sees Nigeria as a conquered territory, he can do whatever.
He even feels he is doing you a favor being your president.
Wait for it folks, Una no get sense by force.
Public servants now public masters.. Ruling us like the military. No speech on inauguration day..
President Buhari no way forward. Always taken Nigerians for granted. Such a shame abeg.

Every step buhari takes, it’s always a wrong step, he knows the tension in the country, and he didn’t give any inaugural speech to douse the tension, who are his advisers?
